Further Arts is an organisation furthering music, media, dance and culture in Vanuatu. They have long provided pathways for young media makers to learn and practice their skills. In September 2018 Further Arts and Maya Haviland from the Australian National University partnered to run a training workshop for a small group of media makers in Port Vila, in conjunction with the REMIX1 exhibition.
The workshop helped participants develop ideas for short films about artists and themes in the REMIX1 exhibition, and develop approaches to storytelling with the artists. Watch out for the short films the crews produce as part of the Remix / Rimix project blog and in Further Arts social media.
