Nicole Deen & Maya Haviland, hosts of Collaboratory

Maya is a Translational Fellow and Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Heritage and Museum Studies, in the College of Arts and Social Sciences at the Australian National University (ANU). She leads the Scaffolding Cultural Co-Creativity project (SCCCP), an international multi-partner action learning project investigating the dynamics of co-creation in diverse organisational and cultural contexts and developing tools and curriculum to support co-creative practice and practitioners.  Maya is a long-term community development practitioner and facilitator, having worked as consultant in Australia, the Pacific and North America for over 15 years prior to joining the ANU.

Nicole is the Director of Kasama Consulting and an experienced facilitator and social innovation coach. She specialises in working collaboratively with organisations and individuals to design and implement programs and services that create positive social change. Nicole has worked for the last 15 years with international NGOs and community organisations across South America, Asia and the Pacific, and is now based in Canberra.
